The statue of Umberlee is one of the most popular stopping points in the Steeps.
The statue stands at the center of a fountain, decorated by stone seashells and other ocean themed statues. It depicts the bitch queen stepping on a kraken, piercing its head with her trident.

The location is often visited by sailors and fishermen before going to sea. Superstition dictates that throwing a copper into the pool keeps Umberlee’s wrath at bay. The church collects the coins during the night, and stealing them is said to bring the bitch queen’s wrath upon the thieves.
