Statue of Balduran

Standing on the cliffs over looking the river Chionthar, the statue of Balduran was built before the Tumbledown sprung around it.
It was erected in honor of the legendary explorer after he failed to return from his second voyage across the Trackless Sea.
The sculptor is unknown – the statue was placed upon the cliffs at night, and no one ever took credit for its creation.

The statue is the only real tourist attraction in Tumbledown. Several mercenary companies offer protection for tourists interested in seeing the statue.
Some superstitious locals claim that the statue is haunted by the ghost of Balduran himself, unable to rest until his ship to returns to the harbor.
Others come to touch the statue, believing that it grants luck for explorers and travelers.
