The Northern Light inn was the only inn at Nashkel.

The original owner, Reis Kensiddar, feared the dark after an encounter with drow and the Nightbringers of Shar, and chose to illuminate the inn with a constant magical light, which is also the source of the inn’s name.
The light comes from a magical lantern hanged at the entrance, which changes its shades between green, red, and blue.

Staff

The innkeepers of the Northern Light are the sisters Allie and Cori Shorard.
Allie is the younger of the two and in charge of greeting the guests and showing them to the rooms.
The older sister, Cori is a stout frowning woman who is in charge of all the inn’s cooking, inventory, and provisions.
