Light of the Dawn is the largest temple dedicated to Lathander in Baldur’s Gate, though there are many more small shrines spread throughout the city.

Architecture

Exterior

The temple’s architecture is unique. It is a pentagon-shaped building with uneven sides and a huge, red-tiled roof in shades of dawn.

Interior

From inside, large windows of stained glass mimic the dawn’s colors at all hours of the day. The red roof is visible from the inside, while green and golden floor tiles, making the whole temple appear like Lathander’s symbol.
Despite its size, the temple has no inner columns supporting the roof.
Large statues of Lathander decorate the largest hall, which is also often used as a museum for statues and sculptures that embody Lathander’s teachings.
