The High Hedge is the home of the retired adventurer Thalantyr, a little west of Beregost.

Architecture

The High Hedge is a strange, octagonal building, with a basined roof, thick granite walls and a small tower at every corner.
It looks like a small fort rather than a house.

Large parts of the exterior walls are surrounded by pine trees and a large pond sits north-west of the building.

Defenses

Thalantyr is a reclusive man, who does not appreciate company.
He has several magical defenses, as well as a mating pair of griffins nesting in his grounds.
