Baldur’s Gate’s public library is a government-sponsored library established-and-operated by the church of Oghma, to service the general populace of Baldur’s Gate who mostly cannot enter Candlekeep.

The library hold many scrolls and tomes on various subjects, ranging from topics of natural sciences such as biology to astronomy, or public sciences such as politics, and even various topics of art and spiritualism.

Books cannot be checked out, but alcoves and private rooms are available for studying.
