Beregost is a small farming community on the Coast Way south of Baldur’s Gate, about half way between the city and Amn.
It was established to support Ulcaster’s School of of the Art, but remains long after the school has been destroyed.

Government

The village is governed by the Most Radiant of Lathander of the Song of the Morning temple east of the it, who also holds the title of governor. A town council of five residents serve as an advisory body, but the governor is under no obligation to follow their advise.
